The final Ullapool Book Festival was held in May 2023. But the promise then was that there would be occasional one-off author events. But the committee has decided to go one better. There will be two separate day events: each day will have 4 author sessions – two in the morning and two in the afternoon with a mix of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. So make a note of the dates of UBF The Sequel – Saturday 22 June and Saturday 7 September. The first session of each day will start at 10.30am and the final one will finish around 5pm. This will allow audience members to come for the day – including the festival’s Lewis and Harris supporters who, with the ferry’s summer timetable, can make a day of it.
